Comments |
One of the most beautiful sections of Wayne, a rich
assortment of homes from Cape Codes to Tudors, Split Levels, Ranches,
Colonials, Custom, and even a Log Cabin or two. Some homes have been
built as far back as 1919, and as new as '2005 plus. Take an hour plus
to walk around this lake and take in the community with walking bridges,
views of the lake and lots of shade to just relax under.
This community centered around a recreational lake which
provides two beach areas for swimming in the lake, plus non-motorized
boating, walking trail and small strip of stores. There is a minor
yearly maintenance fee for homes in this area, around a few hundred
dollars.
There is also a small group of stores/restaurants on the west side of
the lake, which has a Pizza and Italian Restaurant, Pub, Post Office,
Packanack Lake Clubhouse, a Deli, Dry Cleaners and an Art Flower Shop.

In Packanack Lake, their are very few developments. Most
homes are unique by their own right, and were built at various times.
This is important to keep in mind when reviewing the price ranges below,
as one ranch will be quite different from another ranch, one Colonial is
different from another, etc...
